Chief Medical Officer

Daniel Jorgensen MD, MPH, MBA

Dr. Jorgensen is an accomplished physician executive and clinical development leader with nearly 30 years of experience in the biotech/biopharmaceutical industry, in both small and large companies, public and private, including Chief Medical Officer positions for nearly 15 years. His background includes comprehensive research, development, and commercialization experience for small molecules, biologics/vaccines, and devices across multiple therapeutic areas, particularly infectious diseases, immunology/inflammation, diabetes, GI (microbiome) and neuroscience. Dr. Jorgensen was educated at Yale University (BS); University of Wisconsin (MD); University of Washington (MPH); and Yale University (MBA), with additional training and board certifications in Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases, and Preventive Medicine.

Lawrence (Larry) Florin, MBA

Lawrence (Larry) Florin possesses extensive global clinical development leadership experience helping to found, build and grow SMOs, CROs and clinical technology companies in addition to biotech and medtech companies. In addition to serving as the CEO of Hesperos, Larry continues to provide strategic planning and fundraising support to multiple companies. A frequent speaker at and contributor to industry meetings and publications across a range of topics, Larry’s is recognized for his efforts in leveraging technology to develop patient engagement, risk-based monitoring and digital study management solutions. Larry earned a BS in biology from Ursinus College and an Executive MBA from Temple University.
